Burna Boy Breaks Record In Madison Square Garden

Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has become the first Nigerian artist to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Big Apple welcomed the "African giant and he " single-handedly entertained spectators at the over 20,000 capacity arena at the much-anticipated "One Night In Space" performance on Thursday. Nearly 100,000 people watched the online stream on YouTube, in addition to the crowd at the arena.

Burna Boy, according to entertainment critics, is the first and only African to achieve this feat in the Garden.

Burna gave the fans back-to-back classics with his band The Outsiders for more than three hours ending the show post midnight.
